Navan (formerly TripActions) was founded in 2015 with a dual mission: to modernize corporate travel and to embed sustainability into every transaction. Founders Ariel Cohen and Ilan Twig believed that efficiency and environmental stewardship should coexist—not compete.
From its inception, Navan designed its platform to reduce waste: eliminating paper receipts, optimizing routes to lower emissions, and giving companies real-time visibility into their carbon footprint. By 2017, the platform was not only saving clients millions in travel costs but also preventing thousands of tons of CO₂ annually.
The 2023 rebrand to Navan marked a deepening of this commitment—launching the industry’s first integrated Carbon Dashboard and partnering with verified carbon offset programs.

We never sell your data. We share only with: travel suppliers (to fulfill bookings), payment processors, and cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud)—all under strict data processing agreements.
5. Your Rights
You may access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact privacy@navan.com. We respond within 30 days.
6. Security & Retention
Data encrypted in transit and at rest. Retained for 7 years post-account closure (or as required by law).

Navan grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use our platform for internal business purposes.
2. Your Responsibilities

3. Fees
Subscription fees are billed in advance. All payments are non-refundable except as required by law.
4. Intellectual Property
Navan owns the platform. You own your data. Feedback becomes our property to improve services.
5. Disclaimers
Services provided “as is.” We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA. Disputes resolved in Wilmington courts.
